NWF Center for ELDOA will be conducting a 2-hour workshop at YPY.  Come learn some stretches to take care of your spine. 

What is ELDOA? ELDOA is Longitudinal Osteo-Articular Decoaptation Stretching. 

NWF Center for ELDOA works with the fascia using specific exercises and movements to help alleviate compression on the discs and other joints. These exercises help to create space, decrease pain and increase mobility and awareness. This workshop will include an ELDOA presentation followed by a demonstration group class by NWF Center for ELDOA.

ELDOAs are postural self-normalizing techniques designed for widening the space within a chosen articulation. This is accomplished by creating fascial tension to fix the vertebra below and contraction in extreme range to normalise the vertebra above the targeted disc. For example, it is possible in one minute a day to relieve disc compression between T6-T7 or even more specifically at the base of the long arm of the left sacroiliac joint. Dr. VOYER developed an ELDOA exercise for every articulation in the spine starting at the base of the skull and ending with the sacro-illiac joint. Embark with us on a magical sound journey to the soothing vibrations and frequencies of Emily’s seven crystal singing bowls, tongue drum, cymbal, seed rattlers, standing chimes and singing her sacred soul songs. Each of the seven bowls align with each of our seven chakras for the purposes of energetic alignment and healing, for raising our vibration and  grounding our beings. 

We will begin with gentle yoga and light breathwork to reconnect with our heart center before entering the sound healing meditation. 

We will end with an integrative tea ceremony to set intentions together for the week ahead.
